My Divine Blueprint to Self Discovery

Why do we follow others?… Maybe for entertainment, for inspiration, to learn something, to stay informed, or to find out what’s trending? I can’t say I follow anyone religiously. There’s people I follow because I’m vain and they have fitness routines, or makeup tutorials that interest me, but after I’ve seen 1 or 2 videos and clicked “follow” I can’t say that I really go back intentionally for more. If content appears on my feed I might be interested but not for long. I started personal development for myself not so much the following, and after so many years doing it, I feel compelled to come back to it. In the last 3 years, I wanted to return to it but I was working 24/7 on other facets of my life. I was busy and so unsatisfied with my life at the time to take the time to keep working on my blog so I put it on pause. I would create so many drafts and then never got around to editing them or publishing them. My mental state was fatigued and depressed, but I never lost sight of the goal. This constant inner work is what kept me afloat for so long. There were times when I did not want to be here anymore, there were times I couldn’t even get out of bed. I’d drag my sorry ass out, put my face on and in survival mode find the energy to get everything done from house chores, and errands to dealing with my kids. It’s a struggle when you don’t know yourself anymore. In order to combat myself I kept inviting people over to do paint nights with me, I started my business and went hard in. I threw myself in to develop new skills and to see what I was capable of. Self-discovery/self-exploration is what saved my life literally. There’s no blueprint to self-discovery so I decided to create one. However, every person is different and there is no one size fits all, so allow yourself to take the tangents and detours that life throws at you. If you find that any of this resonates with you, feel free to comment below.

My Divine Blueprint to Self-Discovery is as follows:

  1. Start with your zodiac. The moment you were born your soul came here for a reason. Study your birth chart. A free basic birth chart can be found here:https://www.astrosofa.com/horoscope/ascendant  For the full extended features/short free or full paid reports; Click Here.
  2. Life is built by cycles. Moon cycles, menstrual cycles, planetary cycles, human cycles, seasonal cycles, etc. Get “The Pattern” app to understand which life cycle you’re currently in. This is a new modern app that I didn’t have before but took me to the next level.
  3. The best balance to strive for is between, spirituality, psychology, astrology, and neurology.  Take the Myers-Briggs personality assessment found here to understand your personality type (no registration required): https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test
  4. Start seeing a (good) therapist. Start from your childhood and unpack your traumas so you can start healing.
  5. Follow the moon, and look up moon rituals. There’s sacred energy in the moon phases. Tap into your own power. I will share a link here later on my methods.
  6. Do shadow work. When I started looking into every time I felt a certain way, or why I was so different than others, I suddenly found my blocks. YOU CANNOT MANIFEST YOUR BEST LIFE WHILE HAVING BLOCKS. Work through your shadows and the darkness that lies within you.
  7. God gives us our talents, hard work transforms them into success. FIGURE OUT WHAT YOUR TALENTS ARE!
  8. Meditation! Make this a part of your lifestyle. Answers and ideas will come to you, calmness will wash over you, you will reprogram your cells.
  9. Change your environment. Sometimes energy becomes stagnant and a move out of your hometown/area is just what you need to start fresh. Reduce clutter, get rid of old things that don’t resonate with you anymore, redecorate, look into Feng Shui to properly situate your home to increase positive energy flow. Deep clean, and open the windows/doors while burning sage in your home.
  10. I can’t stress this enough…Reinvent yourself along the way. Try new things, things you wouldn’t have done before (within safe reason)…, explore new interests and hobbies. Unlock your potential!
  11. Sadly growth is sometimes confused with “acting funny”… the hardest thing about all this evolving during self-discovery is that you fall out of alignment with the people you once hung out with. Time to let people go, and find more likeminded individuals.
  12. Balance your chakras; learn about and invest in crystals you’re drawn to. I promise they help. 💎💎💎
  13. Create a vision board. Try to strike a balance between human experiences and your soul’s mission. What are you here to do? Focus more on experiences instead of things. Find your purpose in life to help you ascend.
  14. I always say music is therapy, here is my Spotify playlist for Solfeggio Healing Frequencies… they’re powerful!!! Research Nikola Tesla and the vibrational frequency related to brain waves! 🤯
  15. Journaling! I have a personal 5 yr self-development journal I started this year called “One Line a Day”… You will be able to see where you were mentally/emotionally each year on that day for five years!
  16. Affirmations… it sounds so generic and useless but it’s an integral part of letting go of small and false beliefs about yourself, and rewiring the cognition of negative self talk and in turn re-programming your body down to your cells.
  17. Breathe!!! I was busy as ever this year…not in my usual sense though. I was busy calming my fears, raising my vibration, working on meditations, reassuring myself that I wasn’t crazy, and going through cycles of guilt, doubt, fear and then forgiveness. I had to keep reminding myself to be gentle with myself, to love myself and to say my affirmations, in the end I learned forgiveness. All these things seem to just add to your already full to-do list, and it’s like what else can I do? What else can help me get to where I’m going? Forgiveness is the last step. No more beating yourself up about things you can’t control, things that you failed to control, and what was humanly impossible for you to do today. Every night I now forgive myself, and try to do better tomorrow.
  18. Acceptance. Gosh I’m gonna go right ahead and not even try to lie to you. This is my biggest problem but ultimate need to master. I can’t accept defeat in some of my goals, and it maddens me when I don’t reach deadlines, and that I’m not who and where I thought I’d be. Surrendering is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, and now that this year completely derailed me. I surrender to the calling of my soul or highest self. I will do what makes me happy and try to be more present. I am still learning to ride with the wave instead of against it.
  19. Ask questions. Seek spiritual assistance. When something happens, it happens for you, not to you. I used to think things happened to me. We all do. Now I wonder where it’s intended to make me go. What lesson am I supposed to be gaining from this. I got hung up on my disappointments, running from one distraction to another searching for my self-worth only to end up disappointed. Till this day, I question when will enough be enough? When might I become content… that’s when the healing began, ask yourself what voids do you have?
  20. REACH OUT… I started to reach out to other people to make the connections that fuel my growth and development. That was the missing piece to the whole puzzle in a time of “no new friends”. Personal development starts with you but ends with others from the bonds we have. I became privy to talking to strangers in the store, being the one to strike up a conversation when my intuition told me to, and to entertain the people that were suddenly drawn to do the same with me. I used to close myself off; now I’m open and ready to give and receive love and light from my soul family.
